TRADITIONAL INDIAN MEDICINE GAINS POPULARITY NOW AFTER 150 YEARS..AYURVEDA IS RIGHT BACK

Ayurveda is the ancient system of Medicine in the world. Ayurveda, the science of life deals with every aspect of life.Ayurveda has two aims i.e.prevention and promotion of health and secondly cure from the diseases.Everyone wants to give the impression of being forever and increase lifespan by staying healthy. But various cells and tissues of the body undergo changes as age advances. Modern day researches have implicated the malfunctioning of immune system in various human diseases including not just those caused by the microbes but also non-microbial diseases such as cancer, allergies, and auto-immune disorders. This has posed as an immense challenge to medical fraternity for not only the immune system plays an important role towards establishing an infection-free state, it can also be stimulated and supressed by various physical, chemical and biological agents as it has already been proved by advanced researches. These include various natural products of microbial, animal, and plant origin and drugs (steroids, cytotoxic etc.)..
According to Ayurveda ,good health stands at the very root of virtuous acts, acquirement of wealth, gratification of desire, and final emancipation.According to WHO,health is defined as the physical, mental, social and psychological well being of an individual. As far as Ayurveda is concerned, a healthy person is one who remains established in self along with equilibrium of Tridosha (three functional units in the body i.e.,Vata, Pitta, Kapha).Dietetic factors, lifestyle as well as environmental factors, affect the Tridoshas. Disease is the result of disturbance in  homeostasis of Tridosha. A healthy person should therefore, follow a course of life conducive to the maintenance of good health.
There is no scientific evidence for the effectiveness of  Ayurvedic medicine for the treatment of any disease. Concerns have been raised about Ayurvedic products;for example, peer-reviewed studies have shown that up to 20% of Ayurvedic U.S and Indian-manufactured patent medicines sold through out the world contained toxic levels of heavy metals such as lead, mercury, and arsenic. This is the story till yesterday. But today the situation has changed. The scientific evidences for the effectiveness of  ayurvedic medicines in treating various diseases has been revealed....A perfect example for it is that after years of frustration with botox and bleaches, an increasing number of women are opting for personalized Ayurvedic treatments with curative properties that make them feel good.Recognise the truth and act accordingly.....Best wishes.
